👋 Hi, need a help?

The seas in front of the Lloyd’s Register team were looking rough.

They found themselves needing to develop new functions for their oil rig inspection system known as Rig Audits. Though their team possessed the knowledge and experience in both the tech stacks and business concepts to build what they needed, they needed support with delivery.

Bringing in support

The Slash team was brought in to support in the development. The onboarding went smoothly and the initial scope of work got underway without a hitch.

Soon the Slash developers discovered the project criteria were not finalized while the data flows were being updated. There was a troublingly limited time for stakeholders and the Product Owner to clarify the project goals.

This led to late delivery with unexpected and inconsistent results. The team ended up delivering many incomplete modules which were unusable.

The team decided to take a step back to survey where the project was and what issues were causing constant hiccups. Slash held a retrospective to do just that, and after careful analysis & discussion, the team was able to clearly reinitialize the scope that needed to be delivered.

Discovering new horizons

The sun rose on calm seas as the Slash team delivered a first-class MVP based on the updated scope. The key functions the Lloyd’s team needed were delivered, including ready-to-launch functions for the inspection system.
